Ensuring our village has housing options at various price points so young families, essential workers, seniors, and long-time residents can afford to live here. This means encouraging diverse housing types: starter homes, townhomes, and senior housing through smart zoning and development decisions.

Fiscal Responsibility with High Service Quality

We can deliver excellent public services (police, fire, EMS, parks, and infrastructure) while being smart stewards of taxpayer dollars. This means finding efficiencies, pursuing grants, and making strategic investments that prevent costly problems down the road, not forcing residents to choose between safe streets and balanced budgets.

Smart Growth & Development

Growth done right benefits everyone. Strategic residential and commercial development expands our tax base, supports our school district, and brings amenities our community wants. I’ll push for development that fits Cottage Grove’s character while ensuring we have the revenue to fund the services our residents expect. Stagnation isn’t preservation; it’s decline.
